To do this, we draw on deep industry expertise and a command of the fast-evolving fields of cloud, data artificial intelligence, connectivity, software, digital engineering, and platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What will you exhibit at Laval Virtual 2023? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We will be showing 2 demos: Andy3D &ndash; an immersive remote assistance platform and Industrial Metaverse: Digital Twin application to the Retail industry. Andy3D Remote is an immersive, remote collaborative platform that supports the digital continuity of 3D models. It can be used for any field of operation and for a large range of applications: from remote training to maintenance support or from equipment validation to supplier audit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Industrial Metaverse for Retail industry &ndash; Digital Twin of a physical store. By creating a virtual replica of a store, we can now simulate and analyze customer behavior, optimize product placement, and improve overall store operations. This technology allows us to make data-driven decisions and increase sales while providing an enhanced customer experience. Do you have any memories to share since the first edition in 1999? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The 100% virtual edition in 2020 was a great surprise. Obviously, this was a challenge to switch from a physical to a virtual event during the COVID period. But at the end of the day, it&rsquo;s was a great success. We had the opportunity to deliver multiples keynotes in a fun environment with great feedbacks from the audience. This was just the really beginning of the future Metaverse, and it was tactical for LV to be a pioneer, and we were happy to be there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The world of immersive tech was shaken up by the rise of the Metaverse and virtual worlds. What is your opinion on these?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Accelerating the convergence of the physical and digital worlds, the metaverse will offer a multitude of new ways for us all to experience things differently &ndash; whether at work, home, or play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The metaverse represents the next stage of the Internet, enabling billions of people to connect in virtual worlds, experiencing real-life feelings.  These public and private decentralized 3D virtual spaces will deliver online digital CX (customer experience) and EX (employee experience), generated by a sense of presence and space, speech, gesture, touch and even smell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Industrial Metaverse is also coming fast. By bridging physical-digital worlds, organizations can collaborate, simulate, operate and ultimately control physical assets from virtual environments. By creating these virtual worlds, we can empower industries to make faster, safer and more sustainable decisions in real-time with increased efficiency, quality and reduced risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now is the time for businesses to understand the practical application of the metaverse and how to explore its future potential. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do you see the VR world in 10 years?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In 10 years, many advances on VR devices will enlarge the access to VR. VR will be part of the consumer metaverse experiences, although it should not be the single entry point. We see VR as a potential mainstream technology in the industrial sector that will enhance  the employee experience, while improving the operational efficiency through advanced collaboration, visualization, simulation, or training.
