Since its inception in 2019, xCAVE has distinguished itself through its revolutionary 3D display systems featuring LED technology. The company is transforming the way users interact with 3D models. At Laval Virtual 2025, xCAVE will unveil its latest innovation: a unique system that enables three observers to view the same model from the optimum angle for each. Can you tell us more about your company?
We were founded in 2019 and we realize multiview 3D display systems based on LED for complete integration. We develop the system which consists of LED modules, processings and synchronization to use with existing tracking systems to track the viewers and workstations which calculate the correct views for each observer.
What will you exhibit at Laval Virtual?
We will show our LED system capable of displaying a 3D view for three observers, which is currently the only system in existence. You will be able to view the same model with three people at the same time – each from their own position. We will show a model from LS Group with real physics as also a very nice architect house which is provided by middleVR.
Are you planning any activities or demos at your booth?
We organize a little contest to mount a wheel on a car. If you hit the car or something else which causes some damage your score will be lowered. If you are successful, you will receive a can of Mezzo Mix!
What is your company’s current project?
We are currently working on building powerwalls and CAVEs with minimal space requirements, very low power consumption and natural colors with a wide color gamut. By using a lightweight shutter glass similar to sunglasses, the system can be quickly adapted by anyone. This makes you feel very natural through the familiar interaction with colleagues and their facial expressions and gestures together with the discussed VR model on the LED display.
How is your solution transforming your business field?
We are in many sectors present, from real estate to factory planning and design. We bring all actors easily together by our multiview solution which will get intuitively the right understanding. Therefore we will develop for the people and not for the product.
Sustainability and the environment are key topics of this century. How do you cope with these concerns in your XR technologies?
We believe that immersive technologies can bring more people together to better explore the potential of products and use cases. To get a better understanding, faster solutions and more satisfied customers, working on multiview systems will be an essential way to fulfill all these tasks.
