A Mayenne-based start-up that has grown into a major player, Inod first made a name for itself in real estate solutions. Almost ten years after its creation, the company has expanded to offer immersive tools and experiences to professionals in many other sectors. As a loyal exhibitor at the Laval Virtual event, where its success was born, Inod will be attending the international VR / AR exhibition with two brand-new, never-before-seen projects. Come and see for yourself on April 9-11, and meet the team.
Can you tell us more about your company?
Inod Solutions has been creating immersive solutions for professionals since 2016. We’re specializing in immersive technologies and developing virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR) experiences. We also design web applications to help professionals in their digital transformation.
Our innovations include virtual areas, VR serious games for immersive learning, virtual showrooms and other tools for marketing, communication and immersive commerce. With our key products – ScaleView (exploring 3D models in VR), MaValiseVR (turnkey virtual reality kits) and Mix Design (3D interactive arrangement) –, we help our clients innovate, enhance their experiences and stand out from the competition.
What will you exhibit at Laval Virtual?
For Laval Virtual 2025, we are showcasing our Mix Design project, a mixed reality design solution, which enables users to visualize and interact with 3D spaces before being implemented. This technology is compatible with Meta headsets and offers a complete immersion and advanced personalization of projects.
We will also present VeryWoodQuest, an immersive experience developed for the Cooperative Forestry Union. This innovative solution immerses users in an interactive forestry environment, so that they better understand how wood is transformed and the challenges of forest management. VeryWoodQuest shows our ability to combine immersive technology and business expertise to meet the specific needs related to professionals sectors of activity.
Are you planning any activities or demos at your booth?
Yes, visitors can test several of our projects. Our demos will focus on mixed reality with the Meta Quest 3 for Mix Design and the Very Wood Quest application.
Does your company have innovation insights to share with us and our visitors?
Our key innovation at the moment is the use of mixed reality with the Meta Quest 3. With this technology, professionals can overlay virtual elements in their real environment, creating intuitive and seamless interactions. It transforms the way we design and interact with projects in many business areas, by improving process precision and efficiency.
How is your solution transforming your business field?
We target a wide variety of sectors, including industry, service, office, architecture, real estate, education, healthcare and business training. Our mixed reality solution with the Meta Quest 3 is transforming those domains with a seamless interaction between the real and virtual world.
For example, in interior design, the solution allows professionals to visualize and customize 3D spaces, which improve and accelerate decision-making. In the industry field, it facilitates immersive training, preventive maintenance and simulation of complex processes. In healthcare, it can create immersive medical training and simulations of procedures. These applications contribute to gaining efficiency, reducing costs and improving collaboration within teams.
Sustainability and the environment are key topics of this century. How do you cope with these concerns in your XR technologies?
We see immersive technologies as a leverage for a more sustainable approach. Our solutions reduce travels, limit production of physical prototypes and optimize remote training. We also believe in the potential of virtual and mixed reality to raise awareness and guide key players towards more responsible practices, through our forest management game for example. The future of immersive technologies must go in pair with more resource-efficient, accessible and useful experiences, and we are trying to carry this vision throughout our projects.
