With a motto like “Make VR simple”, i.e. simplify access to virtual reality, explorations360 designs hardware and software solutions to enable professionals in training, healthcare, tourism and agriculture to adopt immersive technologies. The company has created a VR kit to facilitate the deployment and piloting of immersive experiences. explorations360 will be presenting its demonstrations at the Laval Virtual exhibition on VR/AR on April 9-11, 2025.
Can you tell us more about your company?
explorations360 makes training, onboarding and operational monitoring easier with 360-degree VR immersive experiences. With our no-code platform, you can create interactive contents available on PC, tablet and VR headset. From training to audits, healthcare, tourism and communications, we help companies optimize their processes with virtual reality.
Are you planning any activities or demos at your booth?
Of course! There will be several demonstrations at our booth. First, visitors can discover our platform that enables them to create and distribute 360-degree experiences in just a few minutes. We’ll also be demonstrating our fully autonomous VR waltzes demos, which require no external power supply, as well as our clients’ projects of 2024-2025 in domains such as care habituation, training in food industry and tourism. Finally, we’ll be showcasing our stand-alone VR terminal, available in 2 or 4-headset versions, ideal for museums, tourist offices and other cultural spaces.
What project are you currently working on?
We have developed a stand-alone VR terminal equipped with VR headsets, as well as a VR Kit dedicated to getting patients used to care. The aim is to help patients better understand their care process. Thanks to this solution, they can visit the care area in advance and from a distance, thus reducing their apprehension. They can also anticipate and understand the medical procedures and examinations they are about to undergo, which helps to reassure them. Last but not least, this immersive approach helps reduce the need for medication, by lowering the stress and anxiety associated with care.
How is your solution transforming your business field?
Our platform makes it easy to create and distribute immersive content, covering a wide range of uses. This year, several outstanding use cases illustrate its potential. For example, Avipole Formation is integrating our solution into its exams: students use a VR360 Kit to create and distribute content during their final exam before a jury. We are also deploying 100% autonomous VR kiosks, with automatic content updates for a constantly optimized experience. Finally, we are currently experimenting with the use of our solution to monitor visits to poultry farms, with our “Monitoring Poultry Farms Inspections with VR 360°” project.
Sustainability and the environment are key topics of this century. How do you cope with these concerns in your XR technologies?
As is often the case with VR, our solution offers the possibility of training and education in complete safety, without taking risks and with limited travel. In terms of education, some of our customers are already using it to raise awareness among schoolchildren of the need to protect underwater ecosystems, particularly in the Var, Alpes-Maritimes and Saint-Martin regions. This approach also helps to reduce tourist and human pressure on sensitive sites.
As far as the poultry sector is concerned, our solution brings numerous benefits to breeders and trainers: reduced costs thanks to fewer on-site visits, optimized health monitoring, more engaging and effective training, as well as improved animal welfare and compliance with regulations.
