Europe’s leader provider for virtual reality, simulations and visual displays technologies and services, ST Engineering Antycip is exhibiting at Laval Virtual this year. On April 9-11, 2025, come and explore innovations by Antycip and its partners, combining XR, LED technology and projections. Visitors will have the exclusive opportunity to test a new 3D screen prototype. Anaïs Tarbi, European Marketing Manager, is sharing the ambitions of ST Engineering Antycip to develop the immersive field.

Can you tell us more about your company?

Founded in 1997, ST Engineering Antycip is one of Europe’s key player in simulations, virtual reality (VR), 3D visualization and immersive display. As an immersive technology specialist, we support our clients in many different fields: defense, industry, research, training and engineering.

Our solutions include advanced projection systems (LED, high-resolution projectors, multi-faces systems), XR solutions with high-performance VR/AR headsets, 3D visualizations and simulations for immersive and collaborative environments, as well as real-time tracking and interaction tools.

We work closely with renowned technologic partners, such as Barco, Christie, Varjo and TechViz, in order to offer high-precision immersive experiences to our clients. With our expertise and innovative solutions, we are helping companies push the limits of user experience and collaboration in a virtual environment.

What will you exhibit at Laval Virtual?

This year at Laval Virtual 2025, Anticyp will showcase a unique immersive and collaborative area, with projection, LED and XR in the same virtual universe. We will present the TruePix LED wall by Barco, a high-quality display solution for immersive and collaborative experiences.

Visitors can also discover on our booth the Christie M 4K25 RGB, a 4K stereo 3D projector that offers an outstanding quality of image for advanced simulation and visualization. Lastly, we will have the Varjo XR-4 headsets with us, which are a reference in XR thanks to their high-precision tracking offering ultra-realistic immersion.

With this demo, we want to illustrate how integration of different XR and visualization technologies can revolutionize collaboration, training and professional simulation.

Antycip will also be demonstrating a new prototype from Barco: an autostereoscopic 3D screen, allowing you to view 3D content without glasses! This technology is not available on the market yet, and you can test it on our booth for the first time. We will also have a dedicated area for our client Zarzis, who will present the first CAVE delivered in North Africa.

Is your company working on an innovation right now?

At the moment, we are observing a growing interest for LED solutions, especially from automotive and motorsport industry key players. High-resolution LED technology is becoming an innovative alternative for immersive environments, because it offers better luminosity, optimized contrast and greater configuration flexibility.

This trend reflects a strong need for more immersive and precise visualization tools, especially for design, training and interactive simulations. At Antycip, we keep a close eye on these technological developments and explore the best solutions to guide our clients in these transformations.

In your business sector, how is your solution transforming the field?

In the fields of defense, education and research & development (R&D), advanced visualization, simulation and XR solutions have a key part to play to improve training, design and experimentation processes.

In Defense, our high-precision immersive simulations are ideal to train military forces, prepare for missions and make decisions in a complex environment. With LED and 3D projection systems, scenarios are becoming more realistic and interactive and optimize learning and reactivity of operators.

In Education, we support universities and training centers in the integration of XR and 3D visualization technologies to make learning more immersive and collaborative. Simulations help students experiment theoretical concepts in interactive virtual environments, increasing engagement and understanding.

In Research, our solutions are used for advanced visualization of complex data, scientific simulations and cutting-edge engineering. Whether it’s for virtual reality tests or immersive collaboration environments, we help teams explore, analyze and design with enhanced precision and immersion.

By integrating LED, XR and projection technology, we are contributing to change these fields by making experiences more realistic, collaborative and efficient.

Sustainability and the environment are key topics of this century. How do you cope with these concerns in your XR technologies?

At Antycip, we are aware that immersive technologies must evolve to be more sustainable and eco responsible. Adopting XR solutions is already a contribution to reduce carbon footprint by limiting physical travels for training, collaboration and testing in virtual environments.

First, efforts must be made for the energetic optimization of equipment. New-generation LED screens and projectors, like the one we’re presenting at Laval Virtual 2025, are more energy-efficient and designed for maximum durability. RGB laser projector, like the Christie M 4K25 RGB, offer a much longer service life than traditional lamps, reducing consumption and component replacement.

Secondly, it’s important to minimize waste and the use of physical materials. With virtual reality and simulation, you can limit the use of physical scale models, prototypes or on-field training, reducing the waste of resources in sectors such as industry, defense and R&D. Virtual environments can replace expensive and complex infrastructures and minimize their environmental impact.

XR immersive technologies have a huge potential to support the ecological transition, whether by facilitating distance training, optimizing the design of more sustainable products or contributing to reducing the environmental footprint of industries. Innovation in these domains must focus on energy efficiency and equipment recyclability. At Antycip, we’re monitoring these developments closely, and are committed to offering sustainable, high-performance technological solutions.
