A 6DOF headset (6 degrees of freedom) tracks six movements of the user: three head movements and three spatial movements.
- tilt his head to right and left
- turn his head to right and left
- tilt his head forward and backward
- move forward and backward
- walk to right and left
- go up and go down
The headset tracks the movements and gives the user a vision close to reality and a freedom of movement. It’s a more advanced technology than 3DOF that requires compatible applications.
