Femme Fatale is a French creative studio specialized in XR experiences. Its ambition is to transform interactive and immersive storytelling by offering new and unique experiences. The studio is mainly aimed at the artistic and cultural field. Its team collaborated with one of the artists of immersive art festival Recto VRso’s official 2025 selection. At Laval Virtual, Femme Fatale will present PERSONA, a new augmented reality solution for museums and brands.

Can you tell us more about your company?

Femme Fatale Studio is a creative studio specializing in new storytelling formats, at the crossroads of art and technology. We design immersive experiences, films, installations and interactive devices for brands and cultural institutions.

Using moving image, 3D, AI and interactive technologies, we explore new ways of telling stories and engaging audiences. The studio places visual innovation and emotion at the heart of every project.

What will you exhibit at Laval Virtual?

At Laval Virtual, Femme Fatale Studio will present PERSONA, an immersive augmented reality experience designed for museums and brands. Thanks to face and torso detection, PERSONA projects captivating narratives directly onto participants, offering an interactive and memorable experience. Available in installation and on social networks, this innovation transforms an exhibition or communication campaign into an engaging and entertaining experience.

Are you planning any activities or demos at your booth?

Of course! There will be iPads to test PERSONA… and maybe a few surprises to discover at the event. We’d prefer to keep a little mystery, but let’s just say that if you like seeing your face transformed into an immersive narrative, there’s a good chance you’ll leave bluffed. Come and test, experiment, and who knows… maybe play an unexpected character!

Does your company have an innovative project to share with us and our visitors?

Our most innovative project at the moment is PERSONA. The technical challenge lies in the fluidity and precision of real-time tracking, while integrating a dynamic, interactive narrative.

We’re working on optimized tracking algorithms and adaptive scenarios so that the experience works equally well in physical installations and on social networks.

In your business sector, how is your solution transforming the field?

In the field of immersive and interactive experiences, PERSONA reinvents the way museums and brands engage their audiences.

Rather than remaining a spectator, the visitor literally becomes the medium of the narrative: his face and chest serve as a living canvas for projecting stories, values or universes.

In concrete terms, this transforms an exhibition into a participatory experience, and a communications campaign into a memorable moment.

Sustainability and the environment are key topics of this century. How do you cope with these concerns in your XR technologies?

Sustainability in immersive technologies is a real issue, and at Femme Fatale Studio, we prefer to avoid innovation rhyming with programmed obsolescence.

Our experiences are designed to be modular and scalable, to avoid becoming ephemeral gadgets. We prefer lightweight devices, accessible on existing hardware (iPads, smartphones) rather than energy-hungry installations.

We believe in a future where XR experiences are not just spectacular, but intelligently designed to last.
