VR Academie was founded in 2017 with the goal to make training in virtual reality more accessible. The company provides services to easily deploy immersive experiences at a large scale. At Laval Virtual, the team is presenting its new range of XR kiosks that have all the hardware and software necessary to set up a VR training session. In addition, VR Academie has consulting and XR equipment rental services. We interviewed Alexis Vervelle, CEO of VR Academie.
Can you tell us more about your company?
VR Academie is a service company specializing in the deployment of immersive technologies since 2017. We have 5 areas of activity: services, rental, manufacturing and distribution of XR equipment, software and content integration, consulting and training.
What will you exhibit at Laval Virtual?
This year at Laval Virtual, we are showcasing our new range of XR kiosks for easy and large-scale VR deployment in fixed locations. We have 3 models: WIRELINK (wired devices), AIR (wireless, mobile, design), IMMERFLIX (360° promotion). Their features include storage, charging, headset compatibility and VR headset screen mirroring system. Their design is eco-responsible (wood, reduced plastic), and they are manufactured in France, with a 1-year warranty and optional services.
Are you planning any activities or demos at your booth?
Our 3 XR Kiosks models will be demonstrated on our booth. Visitors could test the different smart systems we have developed according to their needs : Cable link to secure the devices, the screen mirroring system with the tablet for exemple, the transport case to foster mobility, the different headset charging systems.
What is your company’s current innovation?
We have been bringing immersive projects to life and revitalizing them for 7 years. We have a highly operational view of XR deployment. The challenges on the ground are numerous and often hinder engagement from participants and trainers alike. The innovations featured in our deployment devices all stem from customer feedback. The combination of our expertise and real-world usage has been the key factor in our XR innovation, especially on the immersive learning market.
