Cyclife Digital Solutions is a subsidiary of the EDF group and specializes in risk management in industry. The company provides digital solutions in dangerous fields such as nuclear. Cyclife Digital Solutions is exhibiting at Laval Virtual event on April 9-11, 2025, where it will present the latest features of its ViSu software. Interview with Arnaud Sébastien, Product Owner ViSu.
Can you tell us more about your company?
Cyclife Digital Solutions is an innovative company specialized in digital solutions for risky industries, especially for management and valorization of 1D, 2D and 3D digital archiving.
As a business software editor and digital services supplier, our positioning is unique thanks to our support from EDF group, which enables us to access cutting-edge skills and to understand the challenges of “constraint” industries, for example the nuclear industry.
What will you exhibit at Laval Virtual?
We will present on our booth our solution, the Visual Survey software (ViSu) and its latest features, alongside demonstrations during the entire event. Many use cases can be conducted with the ViSu software : virtual tour, design review and training. Visitors can also try our solutions thanks to virtual reality headsets or a PowerWall.
How is your solution transforming your business field?
In the nuclear sector, our software has been, since last year, deployed in CNPE (Nuclear Center of Electric Production) and engineering centers. As part of the INSIDE project carried by EDF DIPDE, ViSu is now used to pass on knowledge through virtual tours and VR learning sessions, but also to enable different stakeholders of a project to share information, do design review and discuss across sites, engineering centers, service providers and authorities.
Sustainability and the environment are key topics of this century. How do you cope with these concerns in your XR technologies?
As a subsidiary of EDF group, the environment and low carbon challenges are at the core of our activity. The solution we provide is a way to minimize physical travels that cause pollution. Indeed, teams taking part in a project can be at different locations and can collaborate in a virtual environment by avoiding travels and optimizing the “metal time”.
